Hello i m 19 years old i want to increase my biceps. bt i m confused about lifting weights.?

how much weight should i lift. as i have heared that more weight will give u cuts,and light will increase the size. so please help me what to do. more reps with light weight (like 7 kgs in each hand) or average reps with heavy weight like (11 kgs in each hand) please help me??
